Newpark Close Family Resource Centre are hosting an in-person safeTALK training programme on Tuesday January 20th 2026, running from 9:30am – 1:00pm. This half-day training programme is free and is open to anyone over the age of 18.

safeTALK is designed to give us the tools and skills to support a person who is distressed and experiencing suicidal thoughts in our community, workplace or family. It equips participants to identify people at risk of suicide, and teaches us how to connect them with suicide first-aid resources and specialist supports.
