Samhain marks the point in the Celtic calendar when the boundaries between worlds are said to grow thin. This Halloween, Youth Ecology Art explores the hidden ecologies that emerge in these in-between spaces; beneath the soil, inside decaying wood, after dark, and beyond what we usually notice.

Working with natural pigments, fabric, microscopy, collage, sound and experimental map-making, we’ll investigate decomposition, fungi, nocturnal life, underground networks and imagined landscapes.

Together we’ll create artworks inspired by the strange, beautiful systems that quietly recycle, transform and sustain life.
