Following on from Session 1 of our three-part RSE programme, Session 2 focuses on one of the most important skills we can develop as parents — active listening.
How we listen to our children shapes how they communicate with us.
This 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 explores how developing communication skills can strengthen relationships and support meaningful conversations at home.
𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁:
• Understanding active listening
• Building trust through communication
• Supporting conversations about friendships and relationships
• Strengthening parent-child connection
This session is ideal for parents who completed Session 1, but it also works as a stand-alone session.
